 General Information

Total Eclipse of the Sun. Join us August 21, 2017 for a special event celebrating the total eclipse of the sun. Our playbill starts at 11:30 a.m. with a premier of our newest full dome show, Totality. Following Totality, our astronomers Jay Huston and Warren Hart give a live presentation on eclipses - what they are, how they happen, what are their effects - with emphasis on this eclipse. We close with an invitation to view the partial eclipse (as seen over Central Texas, 68%), or view the full Total Eclipse of the Sun on our dome from a NASA feed.

Arrive early. Doors open at 10:30am.

Our Summer matinee shows end in August. Matiness for August are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. There are no matinees Aug 22, 23, or 24th.

Saturday shows are hourly from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Laser Fridays are the last friday of each month from 7 - 10 p.m.
