 General Information

Solar Eclipse Event & Glasses are SOLD OUT.

Total Eclipse of the Sun. Join us August 21 for a special event celebrating the total eclipse of the sun. Our playbill starts at 11:30 a.m. with a premier of our newest full dome show, "Totality." Following "Totality," our astronomers, Jay Huston and Warren Hart, give a live presentation on eclipses - what they are, how they happen, what are their effects - with emphasis on this eclipse. We close with an invitation to view the partial eclipse (as seen over central Texas, 68 percent) or view the full total eclipse of the sun on our dome from a NASA feed.

Advanced tickets cannot be purchased online or over the phone. However, the last time we will be able to sell advanced tickets is Friday, August 17 between 10:30 am and 12:00 pm.

Arrive early. Doors open at 10:30 a.m.

Our summer matinee shows end in August. Matiness are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The last weekday matinee of the season is August 17.
